Background
In April 2024, Bouygues TP approached M&M for support ahead of a high-stakes presentation and interview, where both technical capability and team cohesion would be evaluated. Recognising the importance of this opportunity, M&M met with pursuit leaders to workshop the group’s strategy, and designed and facilitated a two-day, in-person workshop tailored to the team’s specific needs as well as providing support on the morning of the presentation, to ensure that the team arrived in the right headspace to best represent their technical expertise and cohesive, innovative approach.
The programme focused on developing confidence, clarity, and cohesion. We worked with individuals to overcome limiting beliefs around difficult questions, while strengthening team alignment through exercises that built trust and mutual understanding. Our goal was to help the team present not only their technical solution, but also themselves — as a genuine, collaborative unit.
The M&M Effect
A standout moment from the workshop was the creation of a compelling visual representation of the team’s approach to achieving key project milestones. M&M provided focused, constructive feedback to refine both the presentation’s structure and delivery. Each team member received personalised coaching on their communication style, including non-verbal cues, presence, and how to draw on each other’s strengths during questioning. M&M’s role extended beyond technical preparation — we ensured the team approached the assessment with the right mindset, feeling prepared, authentic, and supported.

Our Take
Instead of focusing on providing the team with short-term presentation skills, we worked with them to design a client-focused presentation from the inside out, that best showcased the team's technical expertise, range of experience, and collaborative capabilities. Working so closely with the team, we also don’t believe our work ends when the workshop does. Instead, we join the team, walking alongside our clients throughout the process – feeling the nerves, celebrating the wins. We’re proud to have played a part in this success and to have supported the team in bringing their impressive offering to the table to deliver for ABP and their customers.
